# Drong Cast vs HDMI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HDMI at 52% against Drong Cast's 8%. HDMI also leads on rating (2.9 vs 1.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Drong Cast's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 74) and iOS requirement (12 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HDMI holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drong Cast has 3.2K ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two.
