# SmokeD Alerts vs Truth+

The clearest difference is rating: Truth+ at 4.7 against SmokeD Alerts's 3.0. Truth+ also leads on ratings volume (462 vs 2) and chart position (#143 vs unranked). SmokeD Alerts's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Truth+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truth+ has 462 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of SmokeD Alerts's written reviews are positive against 70% of Truth+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmokeD Alerts ships an update every 3 months, Truth+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
