# Orcas vs MLS

The clearest difference is ads: MLS at none against Orcas's shown. MLS also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Orcas's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Orcas ships an update every 2 weeks, MLS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
