# Kia Access vs VPN Protector & Proxy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kia Access at none against VPN Protector & Proxy's 6. Kia Access also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (427K vs 636). VPN Protector & Proxy's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Protector & Proxy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Kia Access asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kia Access holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kia Access has 427K ratings behind it against 636, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Kia Access's written reviews are positive against 61% of VPN Protector & Proxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kia Access ships an update fortnightly, VPN Protector & Proxy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
