# SmartRent vs Cortland+

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SmartRent at 122K against Cortland+'s 1.5K. SmartRent also leads on chart position (#159 vs unranked). Cortland+'s advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for SmartRent against 4.7 for Cortland+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartRent has 122K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 15% of SmartRent's written reviews are positive against 34% of Cortland+'s.
