# Equiscribe vs CrewBid2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Equiscribe at 100% against CrewBid2's 18%. Equiscribe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.7). CrewBid2's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Equiscribe sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year and CrewBid2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Equiscribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrewBid2 has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Equiscribe's written reviews are positive against 18% of CrewBid2's.

Equiscribe ships an update every 5 weeks, CrewBid2 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
