# Fyndr Alert vs CarCoding

The clearest difference is update cadence: CarCoding at every 2 days against Fyndr Alert's every 6 weeks. Fyndr Alert's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fyndr Alert sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and CarCoding sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fyndr Alert ships an update every 6 weeks, CarCoding every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
