# Ventusky vs WindWise

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WindWise at none against Ventusky's 4. Ventusky's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 1) and chart position (#50 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ventusky sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. WindWise asks for nothing beyond the download.

WindWise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ventusky has 35K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
