# fetch. vs SimplyWise

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: fetch. at none against SimplyWise's 12. fetch. also leads on ads (none vs shown). SimplyWise's advantage is ratings volume (38K vs 5) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimplyWise sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. fetch. asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for fetch. against 4.9 for SimplyWise. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimplyWise has 38K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

fetch. ships an update every 6 months, SimplyWise every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
