# Drumstik vs DRM

The clearest difference is price: DRM at $1.99 against Drumstik's $13.99. DRM also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Drumstik's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Drumstik costs $13.99 and DRM $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DRM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DRM has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Drumstik's written reviews are positive against 57% of DRM's.

Drumstik ships an update every 6 weeks, DRM every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
