# 國學精選 vs Mulchat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 國學精選 at none against Mulchat's 3. 國學精選 also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 1) and review sentiment (84% vs 67%). Mulchat's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 40 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mulchat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. 國學精選 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mulchat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 國學精選 has 66 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of 國學精選's written reviews are positive against 67% of Mulchat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

國學精選 ships an update every 40 months, Mulchat fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
