# My Student Planner vs Assignment Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Student Planner at 81% against Assignment Tracker's 29%. My Student Planner also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). Assignment Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. My Student Planner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 62 and 90 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of My Student Planner's written reviews are positive against 29% of Assignment Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Student Planner ships an update every 5 months, Assignment Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 4, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
