# Tim Notes Blue vs Easy Notebook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tim Notes Blue at none against Easy Notebook's 1. Tim Notes Blue also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 42%). Easy Notebook's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (135 vs 5). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tim Notes Blue asks for nothing beyond the download.

Easy Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Notebook has 135 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Tim Notes Blue's written reviews are positive against 42% of Easy Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tim Notes Blue ships an update every 2 months, Easy Notebook every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on August 19, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
