# MBLC vs Every Student

The clearest difference is update cadence: Every Student at every 2 months against MBLC's every 26 months. MBLC's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MBLC ships an update every 26 months, Every Student every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
