# NCVPS vs HPU+

NCVPS and HPU+ both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of HPU+'s written reviews are positive against 25% of NCVPS's. HPU+ also leads on ratings volume (171 vs 1). NCVPS's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NCVPS against 4.9 for HPU+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HPU+ has 171 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 25% of NCVPS's written reviews are positive against 75% of HPU+'s.

NCVPS ships an update monthly, HPU+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
