# Clippy vs Reverse Video Editor

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clippy at 65% against Reverse Video Editor's 0%. Clippy also leads on ratings volume (201 vs 2). Reverse Video Editor's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clippy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Reverse Video Editor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Video Editor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clippy has 201 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Clippy's written reviews are positive against 0% of Reverse Video Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clippy ships an update every 2 months, Reverse Video Editor every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
