# Raritan vs RAM®

The clearest difference is monetization model: Raritan at free against RAM®'s free with in-app purchases. Raritan also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). RAM®'s advantage is ratings volume (94K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Raritan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RAM® has 94K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Raritan ships an update every 3 weeks, RAM® monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
