# Avier Pro XL GPS Drone vs Map Pilot Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Map Pilot Pro at 4.6 against Avier Pro XL GPS Drone's 4.2. Map Pilot Pro also leads on ratings volume (258 vs 6). Avier Pro XL GPS Drone's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Map Pilot Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Map Pilot Pro has 258 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Avier Pro XL GPS Drone's written reviews are positive against 65% of Map Pilot Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
