# ADI vs AG Viewer

The clearest difference is rating: AG Viewer at 5.0 against ADI's 3.4. AG Viewer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ADI's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AG Viewer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ADI has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ADI ships an update every 2 months, AG Viewer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
