# Flashcards Maker vs manabity

The clearest difference is rating: manabity at 4.7 against Flashcards Maker's 3.9. manabity also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Flashcards Maker's advantage is ratings volume (253 vs 3) and review sentiment (60% vs 48%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards Maker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and manabity sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

manabity holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcards Maker has 253 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Flashcards Maker's written reviews are positive against 48% of manabity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashcards Maker ships an update every 3 weeks, manabity every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
