# Anchorage School District vs Q ParentConnection

The clearest difference is rating: Q ParentConnection at 2.7 against Anchorage School District's 2.2. Anchorage School District's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 7) and review sentiment (26% vs 12%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Q ParentConnection holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anchorage School District has 110 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Anchorage School District's written reviews are positive against 12% of Q ParentConnection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anchorage School District ships an update every 4 months, Q ParentConnection every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
