# UoL Library vs A

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UoL Library at 100% against A's 50%. UoL Library also leads on price (Free vs $1.99) and ratings volume (7 vs 2). A's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

UoL Library is free to download; A costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

A holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of UoL Library's written reviews are positive against 50% of A's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
