# BQM vs Light Fields

The clearest difference is ads: BQM at none against Light Fields's shown. BQM also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BQM sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Light Fields sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BQM ships an update every 5 days, Light Fields every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
