# DJI Ronin vs Imation Photo Printer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Imation Photo Printer at 100% against DJI Ronin's 30%. Imation Photo Printer also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). DJI Ronin's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI Ronin holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Ronin has 7.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of DJI Ronin's written reviews are positive against 100% of Imation Photo Printer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DJI Ronin ships an update every 2 months, Imation Photo Printer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
