# DJI Ronin vs PotensicPro

The clearest difference is rating: DJI Ronin at 4.7 against PotensicPro's 3.6. DJI Ronin also leads on ratings volume (8.1K vs 117). PotensicPro's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 30%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI Ronin holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Ronin has 8.1K ratings behind it against 117, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of DJI Ronin's written reviews are positive against 49% of PotensicPro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DJI Ronin ships an update every 2 months, PotensicPro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
