# ELZApp vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ELZApp at none against Countdown's 1. ELZApp also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.0). Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 10 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ELZApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

ELZApp ships an update every 10 months, Countdown every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
