# Mobile Security & Protection. vs Do Not Track

The clearest difference is monetization model: Do Not Track at free with in-app purchases against Mobile Security & Protection.'s subscription. Do Not Track also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Mobile Security & Protection.'s advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 670). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Security & Protection. sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Do Not Track sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Mobile Security & Protection. against 4.7 for Do Not Track. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Security & Protection. has 7K ratings behind it against 670, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Mobile Security & Protection.'s written reviews are positive against 70% of Do Not Track's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
