# MFIT Personal vs Citrus Squad

MFIT Personal and Citrus Squad both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Citrus Squad's written reviews are positive against 40% of MFIT Personal's. Citrus Squad also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MFIT Personal's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MFIT Personal against 5.0 for Citrus Squad. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MFIT Personal has 4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of MFIT Personal's written reviews are positive against 80% of Citrus Squad's.

MFIT Personal ships an update fortnightly, Citrus Squad every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
