# MFIT Personal vs QR Reader

The clearest difference is ads: MFIT Personal at none against QR Reader's shown. MFIT Personal also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 3). QR Reader's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 40%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MFIT Personal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QR Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MFIT Personal against 5.0 for QR Reader. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MFIT Personal has 4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of MFIT Personal's written reviews are positive against 71% of QR Reader's.

MFIT Personal ships an update fortnightly, QR Reader weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
