# Standard Notes vs Tuta Calendar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tuta Calendar at weekly against Standard Notes's every 5 weeks. Standard Notes's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 168). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standard Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $119.99 per year and Tuta Calendar sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
