# Standard Notes vs SafeVault

The clearest difference is device support: Standard Notes at 3 against SafeVault's 1. Standard Notes also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standard Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $119.99 per year and SafeVault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
