# Wheels Mobile Assistant vs 3M™ Asset Tracking

The clearest difference is rating: 3M™ Asset Tracking at 3.7 against Wheels Mobile Assistant's 3.2. Wheels Mobile Assistant's advantage is ratings volume (663 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

3M™ Asset Tracking holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheels Mobile Assistant has 663 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of Wheels Mobile Assistant's written reviews are positive against 0% of 3M™ Asset Tracking's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wheels Mobile Assistant ships an update every 2 months, 3M™ Asset Tracking every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
