# MojiCon vs Nested Folder Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nested Folder Notes at 74% against MojiCon's 35%. MojiCon's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MojiCon sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Nested Folder Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MojiCon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of MojiCon's written reviews are positive against 74% of Nested Folder Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MojiCon ships an update monthly, Nested Folder Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
