# Xmind vs AnjiCard

The clearest difference is monetization model: Xmind at free with in-app purchases against AnjiCard's subscription. Xmind also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 47%) and ratings volume (7K vs 757). AnjiCard's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xmind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and AnjiCard sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Xmind against 4.7 for AnjiCard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xmind has 7K ratings behind it against 757, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Xmind's written reviews are positive against 47% of AnjiCard's.

Xmind ships an update every 10 days, AnjiCard every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
