# Digital Clock vs Thunder

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thunder at none against Digital Clock's 3. Thunder also leads on ads (none vs shown). Digital Clock's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Thunder asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digital Clock ships an update fortnightly, Thunder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
