# Digital Clock vs Floating Clock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Digital Clock at 69K against Floating Clock's 22. Digital Clock also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Floating Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Digital Clock against 4.7 for Floating Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 69K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Digital Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, Floating Clock fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
