# Digital Clock vs Clock+

The clearest difference is ads: Clock+ at none against Digital Clock's shown. Clock+ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Digital Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (69K vs 1K). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Clock+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Digital Clock against 4.5 for Clock+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 69K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Digital Clock's written reviews are positive against 46% of Clock+'s.

Digital Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, Clock+ every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
