# Digital Clock vs Top Clock

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Top Clock at none against Digital Clock's 3. Digital Clock's advantage is ratings volume (69K vs 150) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Top Clock asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Digital Clock against 4.6 for Top Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 69K ratings behind it against 150, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Digital Clock's written reviews are positive against 61% of Top Clock's.

Digital Clock ships an update fortnightly, Top Clock every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
