# Digital Clock vs Countdown Widgets

The clearest difference is ads: Countdown Widgets at none against Digital Clock's shown. Digital Clock's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Countdown Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock ships an update fortnightly, Countdown Widgets weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
