# Tenant Package Tracker vs Tapes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tapes at every 2 months against Tenant Package Tracker's every 4 months. Tenant Package Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tenant Package Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tapes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tenant Package Tracker ships an update every 4 months, Tapes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
