# GEMS Rewards vs VIVA Plus+

The clearest difference is rating: GEMS Rewards at 4.8 against VIVA Plus+'s 2.8. GEMS Rewards also leads on ratings volume (267 vs 10). VIVA Plus+'s advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GEMS Rewards holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GEMS Rewards has 267 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of GEMS Rewards's written reviews are positive against 58% of VIVA Plus+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GEMS Rewards ships an update monthly, VIVA Plus+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
