# Workapp vs Tasks

The clearest difference is rating: Tasks at 4.6 against Workapp's 3.7. Tasks also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Workapp's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tasks sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Workapp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tasks holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasks has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Workapp's written reviews are positive against 63% of Tasks's.

Workapp ships an update monthly, Tasks weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
