# XDV PRO vs HOMEVIZ

The clearest difference is update cadence: HOMEVIZ at every 6 weeks against XDV PRO's every 3 months. HOMEVIZ also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). XDV PRO's advantage is ratings volume (149 vs 31). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XDV PRO holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 149 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of XDV PRO's written reviews are positive against 19% of HOMEVIZ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XDV PRO ships an update every 3 months, HOMEVIZ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
