# Remox vs Remote Control for Android TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Remox at 80% against Remote Control for Android TV's 35%. Remox also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Remote Control for Android TV's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Control for Android TV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Remox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Remote Control for Android TV holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Control for Android TV has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Remox's written reviews are positive against 35% of Remote Control for Android TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
