# Moretti's vs Taco Maya

The clearest difference is rating: Taco Maya at 4.6 against Moretti's's 3.1. Taco Maya also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (297 vs 29). Moretti's's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 38%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Taco Maya holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taco Maya has 297 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Moretti's's written reviews are positive against 38% of Taco Maya's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Moretti's ships an update every 3 months, Taco Maya every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
