# SphereKnight vs StingerEP1

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SphereKnight at 8.0 against StingerEP1's 12.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SphereKnight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StingerEP1 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SphereKnight ships an update every 4 months, StingerEP1 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
