# AR Moon vs HoppAR

The clearest difference is rating: HoppAR at 4.8 against AR Moon's 3.5. HoppAR also leads on ratings volume (579 vs 4). AR Moon's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR Moon sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and HoppAR sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
