# Buildium vs Yardi Breeze App

The clearest difference is rating: Buildium at 4.7 against Yardi Breeze App's 3.3. Buildium also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 33). Yardi Breeze App's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Buildium holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buildium has 4.5K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Buildium's written reviews are positive against 27% of Yardi Breeze App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
