# Collection Eats vs Evergreens Salad

The clearest difference is rating: Evergreens Salad at 4.8 against Collection Eats's 3.7. Evergreens Salad also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 6). Collection Eats's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Evergreens Salad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evergreens Salad has 3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Collection Eats's written reviews are positive against 45% of Evergreens Salad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Collection Eats ships an update every 3 weeks, Evergreens Salad every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
