# DSS Control vs UniCam

The clearest difference is rating: UniCam at 4.5 against DSS Control's 1.0. UniCam also leads on ratings volume (50 vs 2). DSS Control's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UniCam sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. DSS Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

UniCam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniCam has 50 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
